Solar energy is direct transformation of sunlight into electricity. Solar modules produce D/C current when exposed to sunlight. This D/C electricity is converted with an inverter into A/C electricity to be used by our modern appliances. It is also possible to store the D/C energy into batteries for off-grid or emergency backup systems.

BC hydro still offers the most consistent power throughout the province and is green power produced right here in BC through their extensive hydroelectric dams around the province

Through the use of Solar arrays (panels), having the nescessary aspect to the sun, newer inverter technologies, and more efficient baterry banks solar energy is becoming more usefull

For your small cabin or cottage when suplimented with heat from other sources solar is a great alternative to running the generator, and is far cleaner a choice for the environment
