In this report, we will discuss the many issues brought up by this quote, both about technology evolution, business hype and nanotechnology's great promise. We also provide a school resource to help students think about where solar power can be used and where it's underkill. Nanotechnology helps solar power overcome the limits of expensive flat-panel semiconductor technology. Nano also can help improve cell efficiency. Ultimately, applications for such technology are an issue of cost and reliability.
